NEW EQUIPMENT FOR SANITARY ENGINEER'S DEPT.

As the result of a grant from the United States Department of Agriculture, the Sanitary Engineer's office recently acquired a new crane truck. The truck is a new Ford F-550 4x4 dually with a mounted air compressor, welder, generator, and crane. The truck will make lifting pumps out of lift stations much safer and cheaper for the Department. We wish to thank the USDA's Hillsboro office and the Scioto County Commissioners for their help in obtaining the truck. Sewer customers should note that no funds had to be used from the Sewer Department for this purchase.
